Stephanie Cochrane grew up in Northern Nevada, where her early connection to the natural world shaped a lifelong commitment to living more intentionally. After traveling throughout Southeast Asia and witnessing firsthand the impact of plastic waste on some of the world’s most beautiful landscapes, she felt called to make a change.

In 2019, she founded The Waste Less Shop to make sustainable, low-waste living more accessible—bringing thoughtfully sourced, high-performing alternatives into one space for her local community. What began as a personal shift has grown into a place for connection, education, and everyday action.

Her work is rooted in a deep respect for the rhythms of the natural world and a belief that small, intentional choices can create lasting impact.
