THE NEST
The Nest is a vintage shop filled with unique, high-quality pieces carefully curated for their character, craftsmanship, and story.
Inside you'll find a constantly evolving mix of vintage clothing, mid‑century furniture, art, oddities, gifts, and the kinds of objects that make a home or outfit feel personal. Treasures are cleaned, repaired, and thoughtfully curated before being placed into eye-catching vignettes.
The shop opened in 2009 and has become a place where people come not just to shop, but to wander, get inspired, and reconnect with a sense of nostalgia and unique personal style.
Some visitors come with a specific mission. Others just follow their curiosity.
Both approaches tend to work out pretty well here.
MEET THE SHOPKEEPER
Tessa was born and raised in Reno and has spent more than 20 years treasure hunting, cleaning, repairing, styling, and finding the right home for the right piece.
Her favorite parts of the work are curation, storytelling, and creating a space where people feel welcome to slow down, explore, and reconnect with objects that were made to last—and with the sense of nostalgia and community they carry with them.
As a small business owner and mom raising her son in Reno, supporting local businesses and building community has always been close to her heart. She is also the founder of Check Local First.
